I am a Navy veteran, serving from 1979–1983 and received an Honorable Discharge. I went into the Navy at the age of 17 years old.  I received my GED from the State of Connecticut in Spring of 1979 after Graduating from Submarine School in Groton. The first day I reported aboard my Submarine for Duty. They gave me my High School Diploma already framed.

I am a family man. My wife Kristi and I reside eight miles outside of Joliet. We have 6 children and 2 grandchildren. I have audited classes and also invited as a guest speaker at MSU-Billings. I have learned from the school of hard knocks.

I have worked hard in various industries throughout my life, in agriculture, in foundries, steel mills, factories and in maintenance of historical buildings. I am currently self-employed.

I am a Parent Advocate for Special Education children. I have advocated in 7 different schools since I have been in Montana, on a volunteer basis teaching parents how to advocate for their children themselves. Along with explaining the laws and proceedures involved in doing so.

I am currently the Chairman of the Yellowstone County Constitution Party and the Parliamentarian for the Constitution Party of Montana. For the last 6 years I have been working hard to ensure the state and national Constitutions are upheld and our personal freedoms are not stolen by state and/or federal mandates. We have setup educational tables at gunshows and other public gatherings handing out Dvds, Cds and other information to bring about an awareness to the public of unconstitutional manipulations that have been happening in both our state and national governments. I have also travelled innumerous times to Helena to testify on various bills, during sessions. I have been active in a couple of different conservative campaigns.

I am tired of seeing politics as usual and believe we need elected officials that place principles before politics. I had contacted my House Rep a number of times on issues and after nothing seemed changed regarding any of my concerns. I informed him I would be running for office against him, since even though he claimed my concerns were also his concerns. It did not affect how he voted.
